Details an investigation of the pressure losses associated with a variety of fittings based upon readings collected at four actual pipeline stations involving both reciprocal and centrifugal compressors. Evaluation of existing pressure loss coefficients where available, and procedures for calculating pressure drops as necessary are presented.
